Bashir Ahmed
Bashir is a Civil Engineer with over 15 years’ experience in roads and signals. His degree major was Traffic Engineering. He joined Traffic Systems in 2005 after spending ten years with Opus International. He has been Contracts Manager and Engineers Representative on many projects in the North Island, and has an extensive knowledge of the engineering and design standards of local authorities.
Bashir has an excellent understanding of NZS3910, COPTTM and OSH. He has prepared tenders and participated in tender evaluation on behalf of local authorities. His breadth of practical experience from both contractor’s and engineer’s points of view means that he understands both perspectives, and he uses this capability to ensure his projects meet quality and safety requirements within the time and budget constraints of both parties.
