Steve has been working as a Senior Civils Field Supervisor for Traffic Systems for over five years and has 16 years of experience within the civil construction industry.

Focussed on the Civil Engineering side of our contracts works, he has supervised a variety of works involving all aspects of civil construction, traffic signals installations and upgrades, and maintenance works during his time with us.

Steve has an excellent working knowledge of local council standards having worked previously on North Shore City, Waitakere City and Auckland City Council contracts.

This experience, combined with his current responsibilities and supervisory role within the organisation allow him to direct works and allocate staff between sites to maximise productivity.

Steve has very successfully managed various roading, minor safety, and specialist projects as the senior civil site supervisor for Traffic Systems for various local councils within the Auckland region.

Steve is an experienced figure within the organisation and has significant technical expertise in construction methods and processes involved with intersection upgrades. He has worked on projects for various local council authorities including:

Auckland City Council – Minor Safety Works 2008/2009

Steve was the designated senior site supervisor for many of the sites involving traffic signalisation, intersection upgrades, and civil works within these contracts. Civil works included drainage, kerb and channel, footpath works, trenching, ducting, installation of traffic signal poles, ground planted streetlighting, and vegetative landscaping.

Auckland City Council – Liveable Streets 2009 – Maybury St

As part of the Auckland City Councils Liveable Streets Programme, Steve was responsible for all on site coordination. Steve worked closely in maintaining high standards and best practices. Physical works included construction of centralised tree pits, community and side islands, a raised concrete piazza, roundabout and traffic islands, drainage works, and vegetative landscaping.
