Paul Ransley

Paul has been in the traffic signals industry for over 25 years. He is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced signals experts in New Zealand today.

He started his career with Harding Signals, before starting his own company, Total Traffic Services (now TIS) in 1994. After Tyco Integrated Systems bought TTS, Paul took on the role of New Zealand Manager for two years, before founding Traffic Systems.

In his 25 years’ experience, he has gained extensive local and international knowledge of traffic signals infrastructure. With his understanding of engineering, local authority and NZTA requirements, Paul is uniquely placed to evaluate and recommend innovative ways of managing traffic signals. He has introduced a number of technical innovations in areas that include intersection layout, cabling, lantern configuration and pole design.

As Managing Director of Traffic Systems, Paul is responsible for all contracts we undertake and fulfills this role in a ‘hands-on’ way as Contract Manager.
