HISTORY Traffic Systems has been growing and developing since its first incarnation as Total Traffic Services, which got the green light in 1994. The same core team still provides the same unequalled service and commitment today, now with a wealth of traffic systems experience under its belt.
The management team have fulfilled contracts for Waitakere City, Auckland City, Manakau and Transit New Zealand, with upgrades, maintenance, fault finding and new developments all jostling for space on their extensive CV.

EXPERIENCE Traffic Systems has held contracts for the maintenance of traffic signals and belisha beacons in Waitakere City and Auckland City; for traffic signal upgrades in Auckland City and Manakau and was also responsible for the majority of installation of safety improvements for Auckland, Manakau and Waitakere cities.
All staff and sub-contractors have knowledge of the Resource Management Act 1991, the Building Act 1992 and Regulations and extensive knowledge of Transit NZ design standards, policies and general procedures. Traffic Systems is also thoroughly familiar with the Austroads standards, National Association of Australian State Road Authorities (NAASRA) Guide and the New Zealand traffic regulations.
