PAUL RANSLEY

Paul has been in the traffic signals industry since 1986. He was employed by Harding Electronic Systems for 10 years before starting Total Traffic Services (now TIS) in 1994. After selling Total Traffic Services to Tyco Integrated Systems, Paul became their New Zealand Manager.

Latterly he has taken on the role of Managing Director for Traffic Systems and is responsible for all their pricing, invoicing, client liaison and management. He has established a close working relationship with both local authorities and private/public companies on a wide range of contracts for traffic signal and roading work.

Paul's extensive knowledge of traffic signal infrastructure and statutory requirements enables him to evaluate and recommend innovative ways of doing things, especially with regard to intersection layout, cabling, lantern configurations and pole dimensions

Paul has a 'hands-on' management style; constantly ensuring work is carried out in a timely, efficient manner and to a high standard. Paul plays a pivotal role within the company, and always responds well to the pressurised nature of his duties.
