NORMAN MOREL

Norm has been with Traffic Systems Ltd since it began (as Total Traffic Services) in 1994. In fact, he has been involved in the traffic signal industry for more than 25 years, even completing his original electrical apprenticeship within this industry.

Paul Ransley and Norm Morel have worked extensively together on traffic signal contracts, doing all the installation work for Harding Electronic Systems for 14 years before their Traffic Systems adventures. Norm has experience with all controllers and equipment installed throughout the greater Auckland region.

In accordance with Traffic Systems' policy of ongoing staff training, Norm has recently completed training in the requirements of the Transit NZ Interim Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management September 2000. He is now a qualified Traffic Controller.

Norm is responsible for ongoing quality control and performance review. He monitors systems and implements changes to ensure all staff and subcontractors adhere to our programme of improvement. Norm's vast experience in the traffic signal industry equips him well for on-the-spot problem solving and general site management. He is well liked and respected by both staff and clients.
